Carrot juice is the mainstay of mixed vegetable juices since its sweetness combines well with other less palatable varieties of juice. On its own it has a little spicy taste and is delicious with a few sprigs of fresh herbs. Carrot juice is renowned for its ability to cleanse the liver of excess fats and can aid digestion. Carrot juice is very high in beta-carotene, particularly so in mature carrots and rich in the minerals calcium and magnesium.

Benefits of Carrot Juice

  • No other vegetable contains as much beta-carotene as carrots. In our body, beta-carotene is  converted into Vitamin A, which assists in improving our eyesight and the functioning of our immune system, strengthening our  bones and teeth, preventing possible problems with the functioning of the thyroid glad.     Evelyn, you’re not alone. I cringe every time I have to bring out my Champion juicer. I am thinking about purchasing the Hurom juicer. :-)

  3. Ancient Greeks used to drink carrot juice as a natural body cleansing agent. They used to drink carrot juice to regain strength and vitality they also used it as a remedy for constipation… No other juice contains as much beta carotene as it is in carrot juice..Beta carotene is converted into vitamin A in our body.
