Chlorophyll rich foods…wheatgrass, algae, seaweeds, and green vegetables.

Chlorophyll has been shown to build red blood cells quickly, normalize blood pressure by dilating the blood pathways though out the body, destroy poisonous carbon dioxide, release free oxygen and promote higher metabolism and stimulated enzyme systems. On top of all of these benefits, consuming chlorophyll from wheatgrass is a highly effective way to alkalize the blood and energize the body! Vitamins C, B12, B6, A, K, and folic acid are among the nutrients needed to keep blood healthy. Chlorophyll found in food may stimulate the production of red blood cells in bone marrow. Chlorophyll has been shown to help protect against cancer and certain forms of  radiation, to kill germs, and to act as a powerful wound healer.

Wheatgrass juice builds blood. The chlorophyll molecule in wheatgrass is almost identical to the haemoglobin molecule in human blood. The only difference is that the central element in chlorophyll is magnesium and in haemoglobin it is iron. Due to this inherent similarity the human body can easily transform chlorophyll into haemoglobin increasing the red blood cell count as well as the blood’s capacity to deliver oxygen and other nutrients to the body’s cells.

  1. Never knew chlorophyll has so many benefits, must increase the consumption of the green vegetables. I do consume quite a few green vegetables, but never tried the ones you mentioned like wheat grass etc. I wonder if it will be available in any market near my home.

  2. Hi Ms. Carolyn,

Thanks for sharing! Would you say it is better to get chlorophyll from wheatgrass, sea veggies and green leafy vegetables more so than algae? What are your thoughts on this? I’m curious because I have some spirulina, but I don’t hardly take it. I will eat sea veggies before I do spiriulina. I guess because I don’t like the taste.

    Take care,

  3. Uttoran Sen,

If you are near a Whole Foods they will have it. Also check health stores. Please stop by often. :-)

    Have a great day!

  4. Hi Evelyn,

Evelyn I love them all and algae included. You will definitely get more chlorophyll from wheatgrass, sea veggie and green leafy vegetables, and you can also take it in tablet form which I have. I add spirulina to my green smoothies unless I am taking the capsule. Try the spirulina in your green smoothies and let me know how that works for you. :-)

  5. Right here is the right webpage for anybody who wishes to find out
about this topic. You understand a whole lot its almost hard to
argue with you (not that I really will need to…HaHa). You certainly put a fresh spin on a subject which has been written
about for many years. Great stuff, just excellent!

  6. Seed Embedding and Wrist Acupressure may also be effective.

Instead of jumping up from the table to get on with the washing-up, sit there
for a while, as you would have done, let yourself feel your
desire to smoke and think through your choice not to smoke – for
now. Not everybody bin use nicotine patches or chewing gum
effectively, because it does not work in the same manner on everybody.
